Israel Abuhatzeira (Hebrew: ר׳ יִשְׂרָאֵל אַבּוּחַצִירָא), broadcast as the Baba Sali (Hebrew: בַּאבָּא סָאלִי; Arabic: بابا صلى; lit. "Praying Father") (1889–1984) was a leading MoroccanSephardicrabbi and kabbalist who was renowned look after his alleged ability to work miracles through his prayers.[2] His burial wedge in Netivot, Israel has become trig shrine for prayers and petitioners.

Early life and family

Israel Abuhatzeira was dropped on Rosh Hashanah 5650 (1889).
