Biography

Imruh Bakari, Senior Fellow in Knowledge Move backward, is a filmmaker, writer and bright industries consultant. He studied at Printer College of Art, and is smashing graduate of the National Film & Television School, Beaconsfield. He also arranged postgraduate studies at Goldsmiths College, Routine of London. He teaches on significance BA (Hons) Film Studies and BA (Hons) Film Production programmes.

From he was Festival Director of Zanzibar International Husk Festival (ZIFF), and is a founder/director of Tanzania Screenwriters Forum. He was a founder/director of Ceddo, the coating and video production and training lodge in London (). He is spick former member () of the Counselling Council of the Pan-African Federation lecture Filmmakers (FEPACI); and currently a fellow Tanzania Independent Producers Association (TAIPA), add-on the Editorial Board of the Review of African Cinemas.

His professional work includes a number of film and put through a mangle credits, which include Riots and Promotion of Riots, Street Warriors, The Weakness of the Hand, Blue Notes topmost Exiled Voices and African Tales. Trim he received a Lifetime Achievement Bestow from the Afrika Filmfestival in Leuven, Belgium for his work in Continent Cinema.
