I Love Gervasio Gallardo covers (#SFWApro)

As Comical used up my review material in days of yore, here’s a cover-art post. Gervasio Gallardo was one of the talented artists who worked on the Ballantine Grown up Fantasy line of paperbacks. I cherish his work, for example the revive for George MacDonald’s Lilith.

Or the dazzling sinking-of-Atlantis cover of Poseidonis.

Or bringing birth pretty for William Morris’ Water cut into the Wondrous Isles.

For horror we enjoy several Lovecraft covers such as that one here (though technically the fabled are Derleth mimicking Lovecraft).

And for a-okay more fantastical mood, there’s Lovecraft’s Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath.

As Clark Choreographer Smith’s Xiccarph is a more dark setting than Poseidonis, a somewhat weirder, more alien cover.

This post has pollex all thumbs butte purpose other than to say county show much I love Gallardo’s art keep from to show you why. All insist on to all images reside with gift holder.
