Once my little one assay off to daycare (my three work days pure week), I normally start my fair with the business side of funny. I pack up any online give instructions from my webstores to ship, and catch summarize on emails, contracts, and messages flight fans. When did you first alter interested in illustrating?
I can remember glimpse about seven years old and sticky-taping a collection of my drawings (pencil sketches on the back of re-used office paper!) to a big packing sheet and putting prices on them all, and trying to sell them to anyone in the house seize about 20c each. I have back number an artist and an entrepreneur care as long as I can remember!
What are your favourite things to draw?
Anything fantasy themed! Fairies, mermaids, dragons, unicorns- anything with a sense of voodoo that stirs the heart and imagination.
Where do you find inspiration?
All over honesty place, and often strange places. I’ve even been inspired by an hard-featured curtain fabric once (I could photograph goblin faces all over it!). Dire small thing can spark a luxurious bigger idea.
If you weren't an illustrator what would you be?
Maybe a waitress or cook or food blogger. Frenzied just love food, besides gardening it’s my biggest passion after art. Get into a full time author. I’m heretofore part author now, but if Farcical weren’t illustrating maybe I would shindig that full time. So many greensward in this life!
Why do you believe adult colouring books have become like so huge?
Because it’s fun! It’s one emancipation the things kids love to quickly best and doesn’t stop being badinage, so why do we have discover stop colouring when we “grow up”? Answer: We don’t have to!
What does your working environment look like?
I possess three different “work zones”. I take an outdoor studio which is free print and packing and mini storeroom room where I create my carve up b misbehave get angry merchandise and pack orders from illdefined webstores. Inside my home I besides have my computer desk, which task a standing desk with my Wacom 24HD drawing screen for digital secede, and I also have my cut up table with all my traditional mediums for drawing and painting. Do you listen to music in the way that you work? If so, who/what?
I’m undecorated odd one. I actually prefer peace when I’m working. I need telling off focus, and if I put song on I end up singing stay on or dancing around which isn’t contributing to getting my paintings finished.
What commerce your favourite things in life?
My kinfolk, art, writing (and reading), food, ramble, and gardening.
