Roscoe Conkling "Fatty" Arbuckle (March 24, 1887 – June 29, 1933) was an Americansilent movieactor, comedian, pretentious, and screenwriter. He helped Charlie Comic become an actor. He discovered Broncobuster Keaton and Bob Hope.

Arbuckle was one of the most popular noiseless stars of the 1910s. He ere long became one of the highest compensable actors in Hollywood. He once undiluted a contract in 1921 with Cardinal Pictures for US$1 million.

Arbuckle was accused of three counts of defilement and for murdering actress Virginia Rappe.[1] Arbuckle was later found not ingenuous and the jury gave Arbuckle spiffy tidy up formal apology.[1]
